Their “Digital Sound”, which they would like every one to hear, is perfectly built with the use of samples and synthesizer. The band is composed of andro (Vocal, programming) and #449 (keyboard & programming). The band is not only a pioneer in Japan with its goth/industrial sound, but they have also expanded their activities to Europe where they perform ocassionally. Their influences include Rammstein, Bauhaus and Orchestral maneuvers in the dark. GOTHIKA started under the name Euthanasie in 2001 and was created by andro and n@o. After they spent two years to create their gothic romantic music and their strange sensual universe, they decided to hire #449 in 2003, whose arrival accelerated the band’s activities. That very same year the band released “Savage Messiah” and in 2004, it’s worthy successor, “Gloomy Sunday”, came out.
