The latest talk in town is who is XL5IVE?
XL5IVE is the latest afro-European music artiste who just returned from Europe to launch his music career in the shores of Nigeria with plans of dominating the industry with his unique kind of music.
His kind of music Touching on ambient, dark-wave pop, gothic trip-hop, and hip-hop styles; at best, could be described as a synchronization of Western, Afro-Caribbean and archetypal Nigerian musical flavours.
His proficiency in multiple local and international languages such as Esan, Yoruba, French, Magyar (Hungarian), and Dutch, provides a pedestal for the universality of his music.
Originally named Perry Stevenson Ohens he launched into the music industry with XL5ive as his career moniker and a single titled Olomi currently enjoying massive airplay on radio stations in Nigeria and selected European countries.
Xl5ives album, a 14 tracker with hit songs like “olomi” and “swagger” my way will be launched Saturday 28th of November at Planet One Maryland, Ikeja in a colorful cocktail gathering of Top Nigerian celebrities, Media and his fans and friends from far and near.
It’s strictly by invitation.

This is from 1983 or 1984, I finally foud info about this song. It`s taken from a Netherlands Compilation titled “grote Prijs van Nederland 1983. It was airplayed in Peru in a radio station, 1984. Thanks to Eddie Lenti for the help!!!
