Paul Ray – Truly (Doin’ the Best I Can)
Paul Ray is the first project by the electronic musician/bass player/music producer Paolo Favati from Florence, better known for his work with Italian electro-industrial bands like PANKOW or TEMPLEBEAT. “Truly (Doin’ the Best I Can)” is the single from Paul Ray’s first and only LP “Doin’ the Best I Can” on Polygram Italy. This is a real rare clip and shows the Italo disco origin from the guy who later wrote the TECHNOCLUB classic “SICKNESS TAKIN’ OVER” in 1987 under the name PANKOW with vocalist ALEX SPALCK and electronic musician MAURIZIO FASOLO. Cult drummer Alex Gimignani (Neon, Pankow, Death SS and many more) also played live and in studio with PAUL RAY and also appears in this clip.
